The Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Hon. Jacob Kwabena Adjei, has successfully organized a large-scale free paediatric health outreach programme that benefited over 650 children and residents in the constituency.
The medical outreach, which took place at Tadzewu, provided free health screening, treatment, and medication for children suffering from various ailments including malaria, skin infections, eye problems, and malnutrition.
Speaking at the event, the MP stated that the health of children is paramount to the future development of the area. He emphasized his commitment to improving healthcare access in rural communities.
“As a father and a leader, I cannot sit and watch our children suffer due to lack of basic healthcare. This is why we will continue to organize such outreaches regularly,” Hon. Adjei said.
The outreach was supported by a team of medical doctors, nurses, and health volunteers who also offered health education to parents on child nutrition and hygiene.
