Anticipation is building across Ghana’s gospel music community as award-winning gospel musician Joe Mettle prepares to host the 2026 edition of his flagship worship event, Praise Reloaded, at the Accra Sports Stadium on June 28, 2026. Speaking at the launch of the event, Joe Mettle described “The River” as more than a concert, calling it a divine assignment aimed at bringing spiritual renewal and transformation to participants. Organizers say the theme is inspired by biblical teachings on living water and spiritual revival.
The event will feature performances and ministrations from several renowned gospel acts, including Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Eugene Zuta, and the Bethel Revival Choir, with additional local and international gospel artists expected to be announced ahead of the event.
To build momentum ahead of the main gathering, organizers have rolled out a series of activities, including church and campus activations, media engagements, prayer campaigns, worship nights, a music seminar, and a city-wide float. These activities are designed to prepare worshippers spiritually and create excitement leading up to the main event.
