The Some Senior High School Old Students Association (SSOSA) has announced plans to hold a general meeting as part of preparations toward the school’s upcoming 60th anniversary celebrations.
The meeting, scheduled for July 3, 2026, is expected to bring together alumni from across Ghana and abroad to discuss activities, projects, and initiatives aimed at commemorating the institution’s six decades of academic excellence.
According to organizers, the gathering will provide an opportunity for old students to reconnect, review development priorities, and contribute ideas for strengthening the school’s growth and infrastructure.
The association says the anniversary celebrations will not only honor the school’s rich history but also serve as a platform to mobilize support for educational and infrastructural improvements.
Founded in 1966, Some Senior High School has produced numerous professionals, public servants, entrepreneurs, and community leaders who have contributed significantly to national development.
Organizers are encouraging all old students to participate in the meeting and play an active role in shaping the future of the institution.
The 60th anniversary is expected to feature fundraising activities, educational forums, networking events, and projects aimed at improving facilities and learning conditions for current students.
School authorities and alumni leaders have described the milestone as an opportunity to celebrate achievements while investing in the next generation of learners.
