The Ghana Real Estate Professionals Association (GREPA) is representing Ghana at the 2026 National Association of Realtors (NAR) Legislative Meetings in Washington, D.C., as part of efforts to strengthen international cooperation and attract investment into Ghana’s growing real estate sector.
The high-level gathering brings together policymakers, real estate professionals, investors, financial institutions, and housing experts from around the world to discuss emerging trends, housing affordability, sustainable urban development, property regulation, and investment opportunities.
GREPA officials said Ghana’s participation provides an important platform to showcase the country’s expanding real estate market while learning from global best practices in housing finance, property technology, urban planning, and regulatory reforms.
The delegation is expected to engage potential international investors interested in Ghana’s residential, commercial, industrial, and affordable housing sectors.
According to GREPA, strengthening international partnerships will help improve professional standards within Ghana’s real estate industry while encouraging foreign direct investment into housing and infrastructure development.
Industry analysts believe increased collaboration with global real estate organisations could support government’s efforts to reduce Ghana’s housing deficit while promoting sustainable urban growth.
The association reaffirmed its commitment to positioning Ghana as one of Africa’s most attractive destinations for responsible real estate investment through improved transparency, professional development, and stronger regulatory frameworks.
