I Am Not a Very Religious Person’ – M.anifest

Renowned Ghanaian rapper M.anifest has opened up about his views on faith and religion, clarifying that while he is not a very religious person, he strongly believes in a higher power.
In an interview on TV3 that has since gone viral on social media, the award-winning artist shared his thoughts on spirituality and creativity.
“I’m a believer. I believe in the Most High. What we do as creatives, especially as musicians, I don’t know how you can do it without having faith in a higher power, because it’s not all calculation. You don’t always know how these things happen,” he said.
M.anifest further explained that although he does not consider himself deeply religious, he appreciates the significant role faith has played in his life and successful music career.
“Years ago, when I was a teenager, you could not have told me that in one year I would make more than 200 songs. Where is that coming from? It’s coming from a unique source. There’s something divine about it,” the rapper added.
The outspoken musician, known for his conscious and thought-provoking lyrics, has often shared deep reflections on life, success, and personal growth with his fans.
This recent revelation has sparked conversations online about the difference between being religious and being spiritual, especially among Ghanaian creatives and public figures.
