Mr. Isaac Kaliwa, an aspirant for the position of Constituency Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Krachi East Constituency, has emphasized the need for the next Political Secretary to combine precision with diplomacy.
Mr. Kaliwa made the statement while addressing party members and delegates during his campaign tour in the constituency.
He noted that the role of a Political Secretary is critical to the success of any political party, especially at the constituency level, and therefore requires a careful balance between accuracy in execution and diplomatic engagement with stakeholders.
“The Political Secretary must be someone who can blend precision with diplomacy. He or she must be detailed, organized, and firm, but also possess the ability to build consensus and maintain unity within the party,” Mr. Kaliwa stated.
Mr. Kaliwa, who is contesting for the Constituency Secretary position, pledged to bring strong organizational skills, effective communication, and grassroots mobilization experience to the role if given the opportunity.
He further assured party faithful that his leadership would focus on strengthening the party’s structures at the polling station level and improving coordination between the constituency executives and the grassroots.
The Krachi East NDC is expected to hold its constituency executive elections soon, with several aspirants vying for key positions including Constituency Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and Organizer.
