The previous administration (NPP) was Arrogant said Nana Aba Anamoah ace broadcaster and media personality on Joy FM.

Prominent Ghanaian media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has sparked political debate after criticizing officials of the previous government, describing their conduct as arrogant and dismissive toward journalists and the public.

Speaking during an interview on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, Nana Aba assessed the performance of President John Dramani Mahama’s administration after nearly a year in office. She awarded the government a score of between 75 and 80 percent, citing what she believes is an improvement in economic stability and governance.

Addressing the previous administration, Nana Aba did not specifically call the government “ignorant.” Instead, she stated that there was “too much arrogance” among some officials and criticized what she described as a dismissive attitude toward journalists and critics. According to her, public comments made by some government representatives reflected a lack of humility and respect.

“I will give them 75% to 80% because I think that President Mahama has stabilised the economy, and I think his Finance Minister is doing an excellent job,” she said during the interview. She added that the country’s economic situation appears better compared to the final years of the previous administration.

Nana Aba also praised several ministers in the current government for being accessible and responsive to public concerns. However, she noted that it is still early in the government’s tenure and that more time will be needed to fully assess its performance.

Her remarks have since generated mixed reactions on social media, with supporters of the current administration welcoming her comments while critics argue that it remains too soon to make definitive judgments about the government’s performance.
